South East Conference was first organized as a mission station in 1980, known as Cross River Mission Station. A Director Pastor H. J. Luukko led the station. The field grew and was reorganized to a full mission statue in 1993. Politically, Cross River State was earlier in 1987 divided into two states: Akwa Ibom and Cross River States. Thus the field was renamed South East Mission to reflect her territorial domain. Happily and to the glory of God on February 6, 2003 the field was inaugurated as a conference.

Our main challenge is how to take the gospel message to the vast territory, which is highly un-entered.

We invite you to join hand with us today and be a part of our history tomorrow!
